Information you provide

When you subscribe to our newsletter, submit a contact form, or interact with features on the site, we collect the information you provide directly — such as your name and email address.

Automatically collected data

When you visit Indoor Garden, we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the site, including your browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, and approximate geographic location (country/region level only). This is collected through our own analytics system and does not include personally identifiable data.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies necessary for the site to function — including a session cookie for the preview/access gate and preference storage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

Newsletter emails

If you subscribe, we use your email address to send you our newsletter. We use Kit.com (formerly ConvertKit) to manage our subscriber list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Contact messages

Messages submitted through our contact form are stored securely and used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not share contact messages with third parties.

Site analytics

We use anonymous, aggregate analytics data to understand which content is most useful to our visitors and to improve the site. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

Affiliate link tracking

When you click an Amazon affiliate link on our site, Amazon's own systems track that click to attribute any resulting commission to us. This is governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not ours.

Product and article images are served from Unsplash's CDN. Unsplash may collect usage data per their own privacy policy.

Newsletter subscribers

We retain subscriber records for as long as you remain subscribed. Unsubscribing removes you from future emails; your email address is removed from active lists but may be retained in archived records for legal compliance purposes.

Contact messages

Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months, after which they are deleted from our systems.

Analytics data

Anonymous page-view data is retained for 24 months for trend analysis purposes.

Access and deletion

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or request that it be deleted, by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Unsubscribe

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.

Do Not Track

Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of what this should mean in practice.

Indoor Garden is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date below. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
